if you are a virginia coon hunter, deer hunter and bear hunter and so on you are not being represented fairly by the virginia hunting dog alliance. we will be under attack this coming year in the general assembly in regards to our right to retrieve law and sadly its coming from fellow hunters.
this change of our current Right To Retrieve Law is being Sponsored by State Senator Tom Garrett, R-Louisa. He represents the following Counties: Amherst, Appomatix, Fluvanna, Buckingham, Prince Edward, cumberland, Goochland and parts of Louisa and Lynchburg. I know for a fact these are some strong dog hunting counties. You need to get off your butts and contact Tom Garrett and tell him how you feel of him sponsoring such a bill. Remind him that you are a tax payer and a VOTER and come election time if these are the things he is going to do then you will try to see that he is never re-elected. Also contact any other Reps you may have and tell them to fight against this Bill and in other Bill's that attacks your right to have, use and control your hounds.
