ALERT: Move in the making by Gov. McCory of NC!!

Our Governor is attempting to move the Animal Welfare Section away from the NC Dept. of Agriculture over to the NC Dept. of Public Safety, FOR PERSONAL REASONS!! We must work to help stop this action.

1) Call the Office of President Pro-Tem Phil Berger @ 919-733-5708--Ask him to oppose any move of Animal Welfare Section away from the NC Dept. of Agriculture. Thank him for opposing the Puppy Mill Bill.

2) Contact your Senator and share with him or her why we need them to oppose this effort by Gov. McCory.

3) Call the office of NC Commissioner of Agriculture--Steve Troxler @ 919-707-3000. Tell him you oppose moving the Animal Welfare Section away from the NC Dept. of Agriculture!!
