.

Have you ever changed your battery? That is what it kind of sounds like.

When you say the light comes on but it doesn't charge. On the dc 30 the blue light on the collar will stay on until it is charged then will go off. If you are not leaving it on charge until the blue light on the collar shuts off then it's not charged. If the blue light on the collar is not coming on when the charger is hooked up then clean the brass contact points on the collar where the charger connects and see if it will come on. If you are putting the collar on charge and the blue light on the collar comes on and stays on charge until it goes off and the collar is still showing a bar or 2 on the handheld. Take the collar apart unplug the battery for about 30 minutes and then plug the battery back up and try recharging the collar again. If it charges fully you are good to go if not the collar needs a new battery. I had one that would show it was done charging and would only show 1 bar of charge on the handheld. Everyone said it needed a new battery. I did the battery unplug thing stated above and it is still going strong after a year. Hope this info helps ya .......
