There is a lot of riff raff in the book that could be cut instead of this list, with the small breeds ( ie Am. Lep, Redbone, Plotts, ) this list is a very easy way for long time Coon Hound Bloodlines subscribers to keep up with what dogs in there breed have made Nt.Ch. or Gr.Nt.Ch. & many of these older people have no computer or computer access. I know my Pa calls every month after the book comes out wanting to know if I know this dog or that dog & what they are out of because of this list. He likes to stay informed on the Plott Breed but there is no way you, me or anyone else will get him online, he's 90 years old & never turned on a computer.... I just hate to see it go, it keeps people ( esp. in the smaller breeds) informed on what dogs in there breed are now Ch's....... I sure hate to see it go & I think the Coonhound Bloodlines will lose some subscriptions from this, it was usually only a couple or 3 pages & seeing's how much a full page B&W advertisement is, it seems like a small price to pay to keep many customers happy, informed, & the people hunting the hunts names in front of the public in there respective breeds, they are the ones spending gas money & entry money to UKC to earn the titles I think UKC should give them the respect & publish there name, the dogs name & the breeders name in it's magazine...... With this list, each performance sire, each classified ad being online why does anyone need to subscribe to the magazine? All the hunts are online now everything in the book (except the ads people pay for) is available online for free...... I think when a lot of people figure this out several subscriptions will drop.... I just saved myself $45 that's a extra tank of gas to go hunting on.........
