Line scoring scenario?

Line is called crossing under a bush rabbit is seen moving for 10'.
Dog A comes out trailing and breaks down before passing bush. Dog A swings wide by 12', after passing first nine feet of line hooks back in tracking on the last 1' of line. does that dog get scored?

No. The line was called coming under or out of the bush not 9' past the bush.

Sorry after rereading it again sounds like the dog crossed the line then broke down. So yes he scores.

If you called the line at a certain spot and he checked up and picked the track up on the other side of the line then no he would not score.

thanks for the input everyone. I see that it's a grey area and some people see the line as a length of feet and some as one certain point. I can see both ways I wonder what the ones that make the rules think about this.

The line is the point at which the rabbit was seen. From what I get from the question, the dog didn't score. Key point is... Don't think of a scoreable line as an actual line. If the dog misses the point where the rabbit was seen and then skips 8-10 ft. Of the track but still runs where the rabbit was seen afterwards it shouldn't scored.

yes I agree. A line this context is a point where the rabbit is first seen and the dog must cross it to be scored. Although we have all seen people score dogs like in the scenario I mentioned earlier.
