Tough Breaks

What are some tough breaks that has happened to you before in a hunt? Well here is a few of mine. I was hunting registered cast in the state hunt about 10 years ago and was winning with 750+ with 5 minutes left. I was up by 150+ and had to turn out again and my dog had 1st and 1st with a minute left. I'm adding up the score before I walk into the tree, 975+, oh yeah! Got to the tree he had a opossum by himself. A few years later I was hunting a different dog and had 700+ at Walker days in Nt.CH with 10 minutes left. My dog struck with 5 minutes left, he worked a short track and I treed him. All other dogs were withdrawed but the cast stayed with me. Judge looked at me and said sorry the hunt is over. I said No I treed him before time was up. Cast took a vote and voted against me and they weren't even paying attention. My dog had a coon and should have had 925+ with 2nd place but didn't even get in. Last year had over 900 circle at Walker days and in 3 of the trees you could here kitten coons in them .
