Jesse

I hunted with her one night, two of the other dog pulled up short and she went on and treed the coon by herself. She did that twice that night! She didnt have a big come to me type mouth, but a decent mouth. Won the cast easily! Gene Parrow

I believe she won over $30k in PKC. I spectated on a couple casts in her last year or so she was alive. She was a heck of a coon dog. I'd say her mouth was average but when she come on a tree you could tell it. She had a knack for finding coons. There are more people who have experience with her than I do but as far as I can tell she is a legend in the state of Iowa. She reproduced some winners too.

She was the dog you never wanted to draw because she was as tough as nails to beat. She hunted hard and was by her self and a coon treer. Seen her do some awesome work many nights and won a pile for her owners! She won Pkc state races, state championships and good lord who knows how many casts! But the thing that is most important is she REPRODUCED!

Tess female died young but was labor classic champion and Iowa state leader grand pup
3/4 ton gave me and whitey a heck of a run in 2006 for state race and whitey and I just barely beat her Pkc $20,000 plus winner direct pup
Beaver Jo winner direct pup
Darb won a four wheeler 2012 and many more hunts direct pup
Lil jessi won four wheeler 2013 and won many more hunts grand pup
Trader final 3 CHKC world hunt pro showcase final 4 back to back years grand pup
Pinner winner direct pup
Tanner crossbreed winner in Pkc won a pile of hunts grand pup
Honey straight up natural born coon dog direct pup

I am sure there is more I just can't think of them all or know them all but I sure like her in my pedigree! Wish they would have bred her straight Whitey but at least Whitey bred a direct daughter to her to Produce Trader!

A friend of mine owned tanner, trouble and honey. Very independent dogs and very accurate. I have a male out of trouble and mojo, nothing spectacular just a descent hound when hunted up. She must have been a good reproducer, haven't seen anything that is just junk out of her.

Not to cause no trouble but wasn't this female out of a blue tick male and a walker female to make her a cross bred? So how was she registered in UKC and PKC. Not taking nothing away from her at all just asking cuz she has done it all won a lot and reproduced a lot of winners it looks like. Not many like that out there that do both

She was single registered walker in UKC and I think she was English in PKC not sure about that one though. It was no secret she was half bluetick

I just had puppies from a very nice winning female that I bred to Pinner that has proven to be a reproducer just like her mother. She is out of Wild Card x Skippers Unforgiven Saige #3 current reproducers list with 21 pups. I wanted to get as close to the Bluetick as I could get. It helps to bring in new blood in most cases and with the walkers the days having no problem getting treed that little help of nose sure can't hurt. I have hi hopes for this litter of 8 puppies I have out of Pinner.

Yes she was crossbred. Story I heard was longtime bluetick man Denny Kirby got into hunting the PKC pro hunts around the same time Whitey (Stylish Clover) was dominating them. Denny purchased a female out of Whitey & a heavy Clover bred female and later crossed her onto his blue male. I believer jessi was bred back to her sire at one time.

I think jessi was single registered in Ukc as a walker but she could have been registered as bluetick or English. I think she was registered as a crossbreed in PKC.

Hopefully I'm not out of line. There are folks that know a lot more about her than I do.

I just looked at the 2007 Iowa state race standings Jessi was registered as English in the other KC

She was a 1998 model and in 2007 she won just short of $1600

2008 she won almost $1100 as a 10 year old

Jess was originally registered as an English in UKC and PKC. At that time the Crossbreds where not recognized by PKC. All of her pups where registered though as Crossbreds. Before she was bred for the first time she was single registered as a Walker dog, for the reason that her pups would be UKC Walkers. On paper she was known as a Walker dog and an English dog. In real life she was known a COONDOG! I believe that was Denny's main focus when the cross with Kit, a Walker female and Monster, a Bluetick male was made.

I have a friend here in Edgewood Iowa that has an old male out of Jessi & ole south's style rebel cross. This dog was never competition hunted but was a hell of a coon dog with a big voice. He would like to get a pup outta him before he dies so if any of you have a female that you want to breed send me PM.

I had a dual grand female out of this cross, deep hunting female and tried really hard to be accurate. I never lost a NTCH cast with her. Tom
