Arkansas man award $145k afer his dog was executed
This may be a repeat post, a couple years ago some men were hunting the white river refuge in south Ar. Dogs got treed off the refuge on private land. The land owner ended up shooting one mans dog while leashed next to him. From what I remember in criminal court the landowner didn't get much punishment. The hunters also had to pay trespassing fines if I recall. I understand trespassing but shooting the dog once leashed is way out of line.
