Tims dad passed on monday january 27th.

Nelson Figg born oct. 24th 1919

Nelson was a coon hunter all his life and loved bred and raised redbones.

Nelson was my school bus driver and when I was in the 3rd grade I was about to get off the bus and nelson stopped me and said hey larry how would you like to have a pair of redbone puppy's, I am sure my eyes lit up like a christmas tree.

The next day was saturday and my dad took me over to nelson's and he had them puppys in a dog house in the back yard and told me to pick out a pair.

I crawled up in that box and came out with a male and a female and I noticed over my shoulder a young man watching me very close thats when I first met tim.

Nelson was as good as they came,and one of the major reasons that I have such a love for the redbone hounds.

Gone but never will forget my friend Nelson Figg
