I want some GO

Where are the stud dogs that are putting the DRIVE in pups? Big Hunting, Hard going, Wide open Drive. There are only a couple dogs that I have hunted with that have met this critera, and I've bred females to them and so far have had pretty soild all around results. It really doesn't matter to me where I've got to go or how they are bred.. I just want some BIG go. Where I hunt, there isnt a track within every 200 yards and if there is, alot of time it's a track that isn't even worth fooling with. Im greatful for the hounds that I have, but none of them have that wild look in there eye when you cut em loose like there going to out run Hell and High water. If anyone can point me in the right direction, It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Those pups are still real young Jake, not quite 4 months old just yet. MOJO was a hard going rascal for sure when i saw him go. Very excited about getting them in the woods. Named the female I kept Daisy II, I like her so much.

I had a conversation with a good friend last night about the definition of GO. Seems to be regional and seems to have a couple different definitions. My definition is how much ground they can can cover in as little amount of time as possible without running a track. Example, 100 yards a minute. When you turn them loose they kick dirt in your face until they come across a track, move the track accordingly, and come treed.

Earl

I have a blue male that I run on coyotes and bear. He will run the tail off both. I have put him down on a bear and he has run that bear for 10 miles before he treed it. He has run a coyote non-stop for 6 to 8 hours in three feet of snow. You have to come and see this hound go. He just keeps on going and going. He is like that bunny that never runs out of energy. I am up in Northern Wisconsin right on Lake Superior. Come for a hunt. 715-209-1799

Kind of like the definition of accuracy! Lol

You owe it to yourself to check out some Stillwater Farm Legend offspring if you are looking for a little extra giddy up. The old man himself can still gather all the real estate a person wants if the coon aren't out & about.

bullet

I have found the dogs that come down from bullet have a lot of go also some of the smokey river stuff will flat get over the ground, the coon are not very thick down there and they have to cover a lot of ground. the Woodrow dog out of bullet 2 is a crazy hard hunting dog and he came from a supper litter of hounds you might check him out.

Ch Nitech IV's Image

You should hunt with him.

Call Charlie Wyatt his Image dog has more drive and accuracy then any bluetick ive hunted with.

His Sire and Dam was 2 of the hardest coon treeing Heavy Jet 4 bred dogs I ever hunted with.
Grntch Treeslamming Jasper
and
Grntch Moniteau Creek Blue Roxann

I got a video of a 4-5 month old female pup off him that will blow your mind, or it has blown mine since I got her from Charlie at 10 weeks old. She needs no help finding a drag, and I only work her by herself. Friday I will post the video.

Charlie Wyatt

Rocheport Mo

Talked to him today, says he's also got a new prospect. Lots of hunt for a young dog. He is Casey Bred.

But if your looking for a Stud dog, Image is the dude.
Tell Charlie you would like to see him go in some of his worn out holes.. There pretty hard to tree a coon in and he has the hound to get r done.
Be sure if you go to see him go, put some padded soles in your boots because your gonna need em.

Also he has a Female pup off Image he has for sale. I had her here at my house. Littermate to mine. Pretty light colored female and has a big screamin walker dog mouth. She is nice but liked mine better. But out of the whole litter they were both dandies.
I'd say given the chance Image will throw some good ones. Hunts the woods with his head up. He's a pin pointer.

Be carefull not to get too much drive or you'll end up with a crazy dog like Moose, one night when coon weren't moving he crossed the ohio turnpike and treed in a guys yard till morning, and at the ashland spring hunt he swam the flooded mohican river in front of all of us. the current carried him over a thousand yards downstream{garmin said so] before he got to the other side, went huntin and got treed.took us 55 minutes to get back to the cast.

There is a bear dog close to you in central Georgia that puts crazy drive in his pups.I own several sired by him that travel up to 20 miles a day bear hunting, never get sore feet and will run 200 yards ahead of others in my pack. That Geronimo dog that Glynn Holmes owns will put hard going drive in his pups.
Sometimes coon hunters have to look at big game dogs for needed traits.

yes he did, in fact he is very good at getting out of pocket and ending up under a coon, and I have also shot 2 black bears out to hounds.

That dont sound too crazy to me!
That is stupid crazy! I like that in a hound.

Idc what the hound has to do, if he has to get Stupid Crazy to tree a coon, I'd cut him any night with anything.
