help
Looking to get a cur pup. Nees some help pointed in rite direction.
#1 want a female and will b raised inside wit family. Good disposition is a must.
#2 want to mainly hunt squirrel with coon on occasion
#3 don't care about trialing . I want an old school tree dog
#4 silent on track of course
#5 ACCURACY
#7 hunt range....under 200 150 yds max. 100 b better

I'll give you some advice being someone that has had and raises curs for a long time.
Filling the criteria you listed selling you a pup is a crap shoot. Especially, since your training and handling of the pup will have a big bearing on some points of that criteria.
How you handle that pup coming up and what you do with it will effect it's accuracy. If you go in there and rub the hide off it when it starts treeing and do that often you are more than apt to have a dog that matures into one that isn't exceptionally accurate.
Silent on track you usually can predict from past crosses but never is 100% sure.
And last but far for least is hunting range. The range you described is exceptionally close for a cur. Many folks would cull one for the range your wanting. Given terrain what your wanting may be perfect for your area, but most breeders breed for them to get gone. Not hunt close.
Me saying all this is leading up to this point. You would be way ahead of the game financially and time wise to buy a started dog. That way you could pretty well see what you will have as an end product. You would for sure know about range and have a fairly decent idea about accuracy. You would pretty well know bout the opening on track also.
I would be willing to bet just buying a pup you are going to have to compromise on way more of your standards than you would if you bought a started dog. And that is if the pup works out at all. Because even buying from the best breeders, the sad truth is all don't make it.

Im going with a pup from Geronimo X Tree Knockin mike female.
I agree with u on getting a started dog, BUT she will be raised inside and my wife and lil girl want a pup lol
