I'm more aggervated than anything and just venting(spend for ever on the phone push this button for this push this button for that then hold,after thirty minutes you get to talk to somebody)
I bought this alpha aug.6th 2013 called after having it a little while month maybe,the problem was right away I thought maybe I had something set wrong like battery saver or something so I asked a couple guys that had them. one guy said he sent in three times before he got a good one, the other guy has the same problem as mine but it's the only one he has so he couldn't send it in yet!! now the first time I called they had me update it no problem we did ,tried it for another couple weeks same problem call them again they want to just update it again and see if will work, i'm not in to keep calling and trying updates till my alpha runs out of warranty,,, so when I called today to get a dock # ect..the first guy wouldn't give me one.so I hung up on him called back right away talked to another guy and he listened to me and said he needs a copy of the receipt before he can give me a dock number and info to send it to him I said ok i'll put copy of receipt in the box, he said no I need a copy of the receipt before I can give you dock number , i told him I don't have a fax machine nor do I have away to get the receipt in my computer to email it(i'm not that good on to computers and sure don't know anything about sending emails),he said ok we'll have to it this way he'll give a dock number ect. but when I send it in they won't send me a new one it has to be refurbished one because he didn't see the receipt before sending it to them, I told him I would send a copy of the receipt with the alpha and he said that wouldn't work!!!!!! bottom line almost 1300 dollars for it and one extra collar. to me it's a lot of money for something that you can't count on I carry it and my 220 same time because you can't trust the alpha!!!
to me it's like buying a brand new car the engine goes out soon as you get it home you call them and they tell you they put a refurbished motor in your new car, might work for you but not for me !some people have low standards and are easy to please,when I buy something new I expect it to work 100 % like new or replace it with another new one
