IMO, The UNITED NATIONS, Has Outlived It's Worth. I'm Not Advocating Getting Clear Out, But We Need OUR Representatives And Senators To KEEP AN EYE On "o" And Holder! Their Trying To Say That A Treaty Has More Power Than The CONSTITUTION Is Absurd, And With That "SHEEP KILLIN'" Harry Reid, we Better Be On Our Toes. If Those Two Pull It OFF , They NEED To STAND TRIAL FOR TREASON!!! "o" Took The "OATH TO SUPPORT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION, AGAINST ALL ENEMIES, BOTH FORIEGN AND DOMESTIC!!! "o" Would Need IMPEACHED. Throw Holder In JAIL!!!!

I would get clear out myself. We are not like most of those countries. I sure as crap don't need em to tell me what to do. This political correct stuff needs to be gone. The reason we have never been invaded is because others know how many armed citizens we have. That's why the UN wants to disarm us!!

Keep you friends close & your enemies closer...& "o" hasn't made us any friends with the whole NSA thing he has ticked off countries who were once strong allies . And yes for you socialist on here I know everyone spies on everyone but ours has went over the top.
The UN's weapon control policies are gonna have to be watch carefully. Some of our own gov't & the gov't of many other countrie would love to see a disarmed America.

I don't think the UN could take us over since they get the majority of their troops from the US. China, however, is another story. They have mandatory military service there and then every male age 18-49 can be called up in time of war. As of the latest estimates they have about 381 million males in that age range, all of whom who have served or will serve in the military and are thus trained for service. Counting every man, woman, and child in the US we have a population of 316 million.

You think China couldn't take us if they really wanted to? Try sending 65 million more TROOPS than we even have PEOPLE. We'd fight like heck but the numbers just aren't in our favor.

Paul, In My Original Post, I Stated That I Thought That The United Nations Had Outlived It's Purpose In My Eyes. But That Wasn't A Call To Get Out Of It. We Need Our Allies Now More Than Ever, With The Cuts That The Pentagon And Military Are Being Subjected To. As Is Mentioned, Only A Few Countries Ever Send Troops For "POLICE ACTIONS" Or Conflicts. VIET NAM Was Never Declared A War, It Was A Conflict And HISTORY Has Noted The 54 Plus Thousand People Who Died Trying To STOP THE SPREAD OF COMMUNISM!! IMO, There Is A Lot Of Perks For The Ambassadors That Are Not Fair To The Citizens Of The United States. On Top Of The List Is The "IMMUNITY" THEY ARE GRANTED WHEN THEY BREAK OUR LAWS. Well, You Get My Drift, I'll Close Now!!

Paul, you are thinking conventional war. With the advance in weapons at our disposal now and the technology we have now if China would try to attack the US using the outdated method of using troops they would lose at least 2/3 of their force before they ever landed on US soil. If a super power ever went war against another super power they would never try to move troops across open air spaces or water. Never happen. It would be fought at long range. The civilian population would suffer the most. China with a much more dense population would suffer much greater damage then would United States with our rural areas. If this ever would happen I don't think there would be a lot left of either country.

Actually they don't own as much as people think.

If we would send back all the junk they sold our us that is still in stores in the US, they would owe us. LOL!

Which Brings Up Another Problem In The U.S. Trade Agreements. Very Favorable To The Countries Who Flood The U.S. With Their Child Labor Produced Trinkets. I Think That Wally World And the Targets, The El-Cheapo Places That Keep Flooding The Country With These Knock-off Trinkets Are Deplorable!! The Trade Pacts With These Countries Are Slanted Towards Them Instead Of Us. The president couldn't get gun control even close to passed, the u.n doesn't stand a chance. IMO.

I'm all for getting out of the u.n, we could still be allies with other countries, just not recognize the u.n's treaties. We like our dogs to be independent, why not the U.S.A. Right now we are just a big time ME TOO'er jacking International trees.
