For those who might want to know

I am seeing bucks chase does. Not saying they are catching them yet, but they are definitely chasing them.

On the interstate in the last week I have seen over 15 bucks hit on the road. It's that time of year. Sadly when I sit in the stand I see nothing. Our deer population here in Ohio has sure went downhill in the last 5 years.

The small boys are still in groups in north ga. I've pics of some good deer. Specially for here. I've hunted every day since last thur. Mostly evenings cause of stupid work. Today I've done slipped in close to the bedding ground. Even found a pile of bear crap in here. Our rut here is usually end of nov or first of dec.

harvesting has moved the deer some but we have a lot of corn up yet, seen a nice 10 pt. yesterday but he needs another year to grow. I think the coyotes have put a damper on our deer pop., as well as the state of Ohio with all the tags and different seasons they have now.

Last year during coon season around December I found several dead deer with no wear and tear and no bullet holes. I would for sure say it was disease.

Still no older buck movement here. Other than late night stuff. Ga has a crazy rut though. Some areas are late oct. Then a good bit is 2nd week of Nov. At my house its last week of Nov. At my deer land 200 MILES south its about Nov 20. Just 30 miles north of me its first week in Dec. Way south Ga its Jan lol. They say from all the deer brought in to restock them with because they were from all different places. I try to just hunt as much as possible through 2 week of Dec.

young bucks are starting to dog some here, I killed a doe few days ago and she ended up not being any good, no fat on her and the meat looked bad, it was not spoiled so I don't know what was wrong with her, she walked fine and there was no old wounds of any sort on her! had 2 fawns with her and they looked fine, hated to waste a tag but that's the way it goes. GA DAWG did you see the buck they killed in Georgia, it was killed at a vegetable farm my friends farm, i'll have him text me the pic and if you give me a phone # i'll send it to you, it has 5 drop tines I guess!!

No sir. I don't think I saw it. Saw a biggun killed that had no nuts and was still in velvet and had been growing and growing and growing. Since my dog has died. I counted up. I've hunted 19 days in a row. Mostly evenings but Prolly 9 or 10 mornings. I can't are a big one. Rut still a month off for here in north ga. Post a pic or send me text of it if you get it. 770-401-7809

seen 2 bucks chasing last night, this morning the buck I am after read the script to a T, came down to 20 yards broadside released arrow, thwack, hit the only twig in my way, never saw it, just glad I did not wound him, he just walked away hit a scrape and disappeared. the highs and lows of bow hunting. Think i'll quit and go buy a side of beef, it'll be cheaper i'm sure!!
