four dog cast all dogs struck one dog takes some minus and withdraws the handler goes and gets dog to go home and the other dogs follow him back to truck. what happens to their strike points.


soon as the come back to truck they went right back to track and finished the track. so do you minus them or what?

The judge should have had the withdrawn handler wait until his dog could be handled without interfearing with the cast. Sounds like since the rest went back on track they are takeing minus and then getting restruck.

You cannot minus strike unless the dog comes into the cast.

If the cast is at the truck and the dogs come to the truck and show they have quit the track then I would say minus and put them back on the paper when they open.
