Is there a hunt that he has not won? It will be a long time before another hound matches his accomplishments if ever. Would like to see him go one time.

Was mr clean born the superstar he is are is it a testament to the top hounds men who have hunted him from his pup days??? Yes I know he has to have the ability in him but was just wondering if he was born one of those naturals from day one or if he needed some serious polishing of the skills he was born with !!! He has proven he is a great hound time and time again and very few if any will touch his competition accomplishments !! Just curious of cleans early days?????

Did the guy that handled Clean in the 2010 world hunt also handle Mr. Smith to an AKC world championship?

Have a buddy that hunted with him when he was younger and said he was the real deal then , so I'd day he's a natural coon machine . I just wish every body that's taking any no count female and breeding to him would realize they are hurting his reproducing % stop breeding just cause he's a world ch and you want to sell pups ! I ve hunted with some real nice pups outta clean but also came from top quality females as well .

Well Don Dunlap won Mr Smiths world champs and Mr Cleans Don and Chuck are some hard hunters in some nasty hills but Clean was hunted by John Dinger, not far from them Dunlap boys. Dinger said that you could walk to 200 trees and see 198 coon when Clean was a pup. Dinger ended up with the Oxy Clean dog which was killed. Don is one of the best people you could ever want to hunt with or against. He will find your coon and take his licks.. Honest as they come and knows how to make a hound click, if they got it in their blood. Don and Chuck are always packing a coon dog and it looks like Chucks boy is following close behind. Coon dogs are made by men that take years breeding and training what they need. This is the 1st thing in making a good one. My hat goes off to all the men behind this fine hound.
All these off colored bred ppl keep complaining about sick treeing walkers. Well you better take not on this one Clean is throwing ACCURATE pups.. I have had the pleasure to find the fountain of youth when it comes to accuracy and his Name was Skuna River Bark.. I have a pup at my house that is Clean on top and Bark on bottom and she is going to be the death of me. She will follow in her daddies foot steps.. Noise-Speed-Independance- Accurate = COONDOG
Thank you Wimp for all your hard work... I heard a quote from him this weekend at AO
"If you only breed 2 or 3 litters a year you should have to hunt what you breed. That would cut back on a lot of unworthy hounds."

I can't believe Clean is a coon dog and his momma is a PR dog lol.
Just goes to show not all GRAND dogs come from All Grand dogs. My hats off to Cleans owners for keeping a dog of this caliber in the woods and not retiring him.

some of the best hounds that I have hunted were just pr dogs that's got nothing to do with it a good trainer and a dog with brains is all you need you get out what you put in it.

i dont think they were talking about pr dogs there is people that have grnites that aint worth a hoot. Me too their way to grand. Have seen a few that covered all the time just had enough coon dog in em to keep from getting minused or scratched with the rest of em.

When John Dinger and Tyler Stein bred clean and stylish hope (clean's 1st. litter) they was breeding for coon dogs. I know ole hunters out there in his pen. Yes he's accurate, independent, gotta good mouth and head full of sense around house. Hunted with Mr Ed Moore one night and he said Clean started later than most people like.
