Good luck up there

Originally, I was coming up, but Harscamp is working that one and I am off to Kansas.

Dan Harshcamp is one of the best Master of hounds you will ever find. He has always been very fair & honest to me any ways. Sure he does not bend any rules for any one but wouldn't want him any other way, if your looking to bend the rules don't hunt where Dan is the master of hounds then...

yes, all 3 are IA clubs and all approximately equal distance from Cherokee. Good luck to everyone who is hunting in this zone, the people guiding will put you in coon, the rest is up to you and your hound.

Ottosen, Ia. is a very small town, & may not be on some maps, it is to the north East of cherrokee about 50 miles or so.

Ottosen was the late Howard Thompson's club I believe. I been there once. If you never experienced Howard Thompson doing MOH duties you sure missed out. Can't say he exactly followed the MOH Checklist but he sure got his point across and had a way for calling out casts that was priceless.

Good luck to all the Zone 1 hunters giving it a go.

I agree, they broke the mold when Howard was made. didn't see to many try to pull the wool over his eyes. He also did a lot for the youth hunt in Iowa. Sure miss that old boy!!!!!!!!!
