Tribute To Dark Hollow Slam

This ole Hound has thrown some good ens.People wanna talk about reproducers.Here is one of the best.When you can breed a Stud to anything and everything that pulls in your drive and it reproduces. THATS A STUD.

This is BIGTIME DRAMA, ( HAMMER X LUCY ) DRAMA is a great grandpup of Slam on her top side and a grandpup on her bottom side.This is how we are gonna keep OLE SLAM around here at BLACK CREEK KENNELS.

OLE SLAM IS DEFFINATELY FOR REAL.
I THINK HE HAS PROVED IT,BUT YET ANOTHER GREAT STUD.UNDER USED

If anyone had a female to breed and they were thinking, " I need to put some more tree into them". Slam should be the dog you breed to! Patrick will do you right as well. Ol Slam sure ain't getting any younger!

I am by no means a owner of any top stud and never have been. I have been lucky enough to spend time hunting with a few good ones and the offspring like Hoss,Tige,KS Jr, and Slam. Slam has thrown go yonder monsterous tree tree dogs. I'm talking about tree dogs that are in another world when treed, drag em away from a tree and they go crazy and grab other trees with there front legs and hug them to keep from being pulled away. Slobber cover heads and blood red eyes. Slam has thrown it over and over again. He is a tool that we need more of.

I aint going there Mr. Duncan. However,I will say i like what we got out of SLAM X MOLLY ( DOUBLE ALBERT BRED )

Out of the cross we got some dogs that hunt hard at a fast pace,willget gone in a hurry and HARD TREE DOGS.AINT LEAVING.

LOYD,Patrick bred SLAM to cabin cove BETH .A Rocker female.
Hammer is a son of Fousts ALABAMA SLAMMER.SLAMMER is a product of SLAM X ROCKER FEMALE. I think ive heard SONNY say Slam crosses good on a ROCKER female.

tribute

It is fitting Todd started this post. Slam went blind Saturday and I talked to Bruce and we decided to put him down. I was going to take him to the vet in the morning. My wife being the animal lover she is , took Slam to the vet and had him checked out today while I was at work. Vet said he only had an eye infection and he wasn't totally blind and would regain his sight in a few days. Said his blood work was good and he is in tip top shape for his age. So I guess the ol man still has a lot of life left in him.

If anybody wants to bred would be glad to for a pup.Wouldnt mind makin one last run.

I believe you could breed him to literally anything and it would TREE

Someone with a nice female breed to the old man and put me on the list,I have two out of Slam now that I am hunting that are fun(action packed) I really enjoy them.

Patrick could you tell me what kind of hunt and nose, tracking ability he puts in his pups. I know he puts alot of tree in them but i bet he puts other good stuff in there to. Sometimes when dogs put that powerful of a tree style in their pups people overlook all the other good stuff. Might consider breeding my Cloudy dog to him. thanks

Slam pups that I have hunted have had a lot of drive and plenty of nose. Depending on the female some are more balanced than others. The ones that I have hunted could move a track well but in their mind they are not looking to run and tree at the end of the track. They leave with the intent of getting parked somewhere till you get there. Even though they are tree dogs they do not lack tracking ability. You get a balanced cross and you got something to really work with.
