Ya thats right. I live about 45 min from Olney. I dont comp hunt but Ive stopped over there for US days last 2 years and actually got my first redbone over there 2 years ago. Last year attendance was way down from the year before but the heat was really bad. Hope to see more people this year.

I have hunted around Flora a couple of times. They have some pretty good hunting there. I understand that they have a lot of coons right now and are having some real cornfield races. I have never been to US Redbone Days but I might try to stop in there this year on my way back from Wisconsin.

US Days

I make it most years. The hunting territory and coon population is about as good as it gets in IL. It's enjoyable visiting with everyone and pretty laid back.
I stayed home last year because it was horribly hot, as did a lot of people.
Murphy is planning on going Friday. I'm working Friday, so planning to go down Saturday and visit in the afternoon, then hunt Saturday night. See you all there.

I have never been to US Redbone Days but I am leaving in a few minutes. I have to stop by Branch River Kennels and pick up a little bundle of joy to deliver and then I am headed to US Days.

Jeff Murphy got 4th with Jesse

Jeff Murphy of Marshall IL got 4th place in the UKC hunt Saturday night US Days with Mill Creek Jesse ( Steve-O and Chili cross). Jesse has a 1st and 4th place. Shouldn't be too long now till there's another NTCh.

Olney was a good place.

Just wanted to say Olney IL was a good place for this hunt. The hunting was very good. The facilities were real nice. The Park is a real nice place to camp. The MEAL servings were huge and the food was real good.
We had a great time. Della and Flow hunted Saturday night, they were cast into some very good coon hunting, just got beat by a good English dog owned by Jim Ridge.

Good job to all envolved.
