Pictures of Kennels all on 1 Post

I know there are random posts about kennels but I would like to see all kinds of pics on this post of yalls kennels and setups I've tried several setups and don't like them, I've got some ideas but when you start to put it on paper and figure it up you might as well be building a garage with the price of materials now! Plz post kennel/chain ideas on here. Thanks

this idea was brought up recently about having a separate section for kennel stuff (pics and all) and Todd K didnt think there needed to be on that the main board was plenty good enough.
http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthrea...ighlight=kennel

although, there are ALOT of kennel threads and some are the same questions repeatedly. seems it would be easier to put them all in one place and reduce the amount of disc storage space to save all of the repeated ones if ppl could find the answers they were looking for w/o having to ask again.

I was the one who brought the kennel section up. It would be nice.

I posted descriptions and pictures of mine on another post here, but here it is again. Mine is 25'x32'. The outside runs are 4'x12' long. I have a 3 foot walkway in front of the runs that have lights above it. There is also lighting above the outside runs. The back section has the dog houses and is a storage area. It is finished off, insulated and is heated with a wood stove. The dogs houses stay around 45 degrees in the coldest part of our winters. The back area is 32'x10'. The roll up door is nice to get larger items like dog boxes and dog food barrels in.

I like the idea of having a kennel page. Nice place to show off set-ups and a place to trade info on materials.

I like seeing different set-ups and stealing ideas from them. I've got a decent low budget set up now and will be moving a looking to build a different one soon. My dad is also going to be building a small 2 dog run. I enjoy getting ideas from kennel pics.

I had hounds on chains for many years. They did good on it, I just didn't like inspecting the cables or chains all the time inspecting for worn out swivels, clasps, worn cables or stake outs that were coming loose or dogs slipping collars. I have had more dogs get out from chains and cables than from paneled kennels. Hated getting a call at work saying a dog is missing from the chain and running loose.
