I met Todd Smith the week of Redbone Days and pleasure hunted with him and Sherman for three nights. Just wanted to say Todd is a heck of a guy packing a heck of a dog. I seen Sherman tree several coon and he caught one on the ground. He is a hard hunting dog, he likes to get by himself, and he has the grease when you get there. I enjoy seeing nice dog work and Sherman did a nice job.

WAS REAL EASY TO START AS IS HIS BROTHER & SISTERS.

HAD A BIG MOUTH & I LET A GUY KEEP HIM WHILE I WAS ON THE ROAD WORKING WITH GM IN OHIO & HE WORMED HIM WITH SOME KIND OF SHEEP WORMER & LIKE TO HAVE KILLED HIM,SOME FOLKS DONT KNOW ANYTHING TO BEAT IT ALL HE WORMED HIM TWICE & ME TELLING HIM TO NEVER USE IT AGAIN ON HIM.

HES ALL COONDOG CAN OUT HUNT HIS MOUTH SOMETIMES BUT U CAN BET ONE THING HE CAN TREE COONS ANYTIME OF THE YEAR EVEN @ 13 WITH THE SNOW ON.

TODD DONE A NICE JOB WITH HIM IN THE HUNTS.

ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO I SIGNED THE PAPERS OVER TO HIM I NO LONGER OWN 1/2 OF HIM I HAVE 2 BROTHERS TO HIM & 1 SISTER JUST DIDNT NEED HIM TODD MADE HIM GR.NT.SO HE NOW OWNS HIM.

COONDOG FROM START TO FINISH ALONE OR IN COMPANY I HUNTED HIM 2 YRS. BY HIMSELF.

SHERMAN WAS BORN A COONDOG NOT MAN MADE AS IS SEVERAL OF HIS BROS & SISTERS THERES NOTHING MAN MADE ABOUT HIM.

HES OFF LIGHT'IN & TERRYS SPEED QUEEN A PROVEN CROSS.

That's why I go to these red hunts to meet new people and see what other line are producing the blood you guys have is good stuff . Come on down this fall Todd. You will have a good time. Maybe we can turn Sherman and Chick together again. That first drop was a fun drop with lots of action, just wish it would have lasted. Sherman is a nice hound.

SOME OF THESE NICE GIPS NEED TO BE BACKED UP TO SHERMAN IF YOU LIKE BOZO,BANJO,ETC. MY SCANER IS DOWN OR I COULD PUT A PEDIGREE ON HERE ITS NO WONDER SHERMAN IS A COONDOG HE COME FROM A BIG FAMILY OF COONDOGS.HES NOT A FREAK ITS BRED IN HIM.

ONE THING FOR SURE HE TREES LOAD THE GUN & IT ((((WON'T TAKE HIM ALNIGHT TO GET THE JOB DONE))))HAS A TON OF DRIVE MAYBE EVEN OVERDRIVE !

HATE THEM DUDES I GREW UP IN TN FOR SOMETIME AS A KID WHEN BACK TO SEE MY FAMILY ALL THE TIME WAS ALWAYS WATCHING OUT FOR THEM.

WHEN I WAS AROUND 10 I WAS THERE WHEN MY GRANDMA GOT BITTEN BY A COPPER HEAD,ABOUT 3 DAYS LATER I CAN REMEMBER HOW BAD HER ANKLE LOOKED AS A KID WOW NASTY.

GRANDPA ALSO HAD DOGS RUNNING AROUND THE FARM & THEY WERE ALWAYS GETTING SNAKE BITTEN WHERE THEY GOT BITTEN WOULD ROT OUT SWELL UP LOOK PRETTY BAD HE HAD NOTHING TO GIVE THEM 40+ YRS AGO IF THEY DIDNT MAKE IT TO BAD TO SAD HE HAD 14 KIDS DIDNT HAVE THE MONEY @ THAT TIME FOR A DOG THAT GOT SNAKE BITTEN.

MY UNCLE STILL TODAY KILLS THEM COPPER HEADS IN HIS YARD SOUTH OF JAMESTOWN,TN ABOUT 20 MILES.

I DONT EVEN LIKE A GARDENER SNAKE HAD ONE TO COME ACROSS MY FOOT AROUND 15-18 YRS AGO HERE @ MY PLACE THATS ONETIME I THOUGHT I GOT A GOOD LOOK @ MY FOOT BECAUSE I WAS STEPPING HIGH I THINK IT WAS IN MY FACE. ABOUT 3 YRS. AGO THEY BUILT A NEST IN MY TRACTOR BATTERY BOX MUST HAVE BEEN 15 OF THEM MOST LOST THERE LIVES THAT DAY FOR SURE !!!!!

HAY TODD = I was talking to a walker
folower, by my cabin in ny. & he told me that your , Sherman is one hell of a Red &
he has had walkers for a long time, &
Tank put a whipping on his good walker
in a hunt , he highly recomended him as a
great red to breed a female to.

He is an absolute coon dog. When he is unsnapped got one thing on mind tree a coon and he does not care what he puts you threw to do it. Who was that guy? I have had shot off comments from these local guys on him. He is not fancy he just trees and has the m meat .Come down and go for a hunt. His best attribute is his drive goes hard and fast.
