Coupled with Marshal collars they worked great for me . Garmin has changed the game with the birdseye and all .

A friend is selling the receiver and 4 collars for $250. Sounds like a good deal if the collars work well to find a lost dog on property that I don't know well. I have a dog that may wander if we call it a night and cant hear him. I don't mind not seeing exactly where the dog is to find him treed. I can listen for that. He tends to come if he can hear us whistle so if we could just get near his area no need for a GPS

I used one before the garmin.....It worked fine for what it was.

What it was, is a compact tracker that can be easily carried.... IMO not one bit more reliable than the garmin.

I used mine with no problem til the Garmin came out an proved itself , now I use the Astro 320 and like it better . Times change but if what you're looking at suits your purpose and works it's a good deal for a 4 dog system .
