The only negative I have found is when I thought I would be able to permanately register each pup @ time of litter application, as u can with a single sire litter.
I was informed that that option does not xist on a "dual sire litter".
Discount DNA kits R available for purchase at the larger events (AO) etc.
Also if u decide to have them DNA'ed spend the xtra $4.00 per check swab. In other words I sent duplucate swabs, just incase 1 was insufficient, they got an xtra to use.
Also to lessen the financial stress I purchased my DNA kits over a period of 10 mths as opposed to all at once, knowing that I was going to need them within a yr.
A word to the wise........
U will have to speak w/ukc personal at sumtime,I have found that not all their personall r equally knowledgeable on the subjuct of a "dual sire" litter so be prepared for sum aggrevation,by individuals who u think should know but don't. It was a learning xperiance for me ,if u stay the course it can and has been done.
P.S. if UKC feeds u a line of info. that just doesn't sound proper investigate it,ask ?, ask ?, ask? !!!
Got mine done w/little aggrevation.
It is xpensive!
