What would be a good cross?

I have a young female that goes back to big timer. I'm wondering wat would be a good stud to breed her to. I would kinda like to find some old blood.

With Big Timer listed and looking for old blood, High Plains Drifter or Nocturnal Kane might be a good choice , as both are direct from Nocturnal Skipper.

As far as the bloodline, Scar would work fine . The line needs to be brought back together 3rd or 4th generation. It seems to bring the old traits back, and lock them in for a few generations . The voice is one as should be able to hear at near 2 miles on calm night.

Scars bred just like x jr. Hes out of a sister to x jrs mom. So with big timer being out x jr would that be bringing the lines back together and make a good cross? I want COONHOUNDS. Big mouth, big houndy looking ones.

That would bring the line back together, to me it might be better than coming direct from Xjr., as to his rather young age and cause of death. Reminded me too much of my old female and her daughter back in the pedigree.

You think it would produce good pups? Also scar is only about an hour and half away so it would be convienent.

I believe it should produce a good litter, all should make coondogs . If you enjoy your female and she suits you, you will see things that you know, the line stays pretty stable without wild swings .
