Book says 10 PTs awarded no bonus. Use to get a bonus of 5 but pretty sure they did away with that. May be wrong?

Penny way i read Dec 2012 issue p 73 is that Breed winners at big 3 UKC events (WC, AO and World) are awarded 10 Purina points and then the top 6 category winners get an additional 10 pts bonus for 20 total like you first said

That would give B 20 pts since she won TW breed female and then Best Female of Show. but i think Bella should only have 10 pts at WC. I think she and several others were mistakenly awarded the 10 additional pts in last Purina update. I know 2 of my Eng who won Eng reg fem and Eng Gr Male breed were listed with 20 last time when they should only have had 10. i sent Paul a private message about it then so they could correct it.

Perhaps they have now not awarded the additional 10 pts right this time either to 6 dogs that should have gotten them???. Like B....my Cutter male should have 10 more points than he's showing.

i think we need to send Allen and Paul messages again and have them correct our points.

i actually said that wrong above. category winners (Best Male, Best Female, Ch Male..etc) at WC and AO are awarded 10 points just like category winners at any Purina point state championship. They are now describing the bonus points to be those awarded down at breed level. "Bonus Points" are awarded at WC, AO and the World...but no category points awarded at the UKC World due to the format of how they run the show.

I checked in to it and right now it looks like we are 10 points short on Plan B. She was awarded her 10 bonus points for the Winter Classic but not her 10 Purina Points for winning BFOS.

The report for the Illinois State Championship isn't here yet so those points aren't on any dogs yet. I talked to the president of the association and they were mailed yesterday.

Penny is right though; the 6 category winners get 10 Purina Points at Winter Classic just like any other Purina Points event. Then you also get bonus points for being best male of female of breed in your category (i.e. Best Grand Champion Redbone Female).

Sorry for all the confusion. I'll change the standings to reflect the 40 points we should be showing for B.
