Talking my redbones females name

So I've decided to name my new puppy pond hollers moonlite starlilly and I will be calling her star for short I go see her for the first time today when I get outta of my anual training for the national guard....so excited ill try to take a few pictures and post them on here if my phone will allow me to do it. Tell me if u think this is a good name for a dog. So watch out this fall she will be entering the bench shows and possibally the night hunt if I can find a place near by that does them.

Sounds like an excellent name to me. How is she bred?

There are lots of competition events near you, but I would be careful about entering a young dog in competition hunts too early. You don't want her hunting with unknown dogs until she's well started. Take her to the events to show and get socialized, but hunt her alone or with dogs you know the faults of before you hunt with dogs and hunters you don't know. If you draw out with the wrong dog, she could acquire some bad habits, and a mean dog at the tree could set her back seriously...

Yeah that's true I won't competion hunt her till I have her on point but I am planning on bech showing her hell I went to see the puppy yesterday at 10 weeks old and she is huge and pretty as hell blackfaced redbone with a white star on her chest and very explorative at this time with a lot of fight in her with the other older dogs around she really holds her own she should be one outstanding coonhound and very very good looking red dog....watch out for her in the future she has potential to win a lot of bench shows early as a young dog.
