Worst hunting Accident? Blooper! Ultimate fail!

My worst coonhunting accident occurred while shining a tree. I was backing up to get a better view and backed myself right off about a 20 ft creek bank. When I landed head first a rock went through my cheek and knocked me out. After I awoke my father helped me up and we went to the hospital for stitches. That was my ultimate fail. Still have the scar to remember to look behind me when I back up! How about y'all I bet there are some great ultimate fails to share.

I honestly can't think of any personally...I've had the usual...things that I'm sure have happened to all of us...

Well...maybe not all of us have been confused on where the truck was and watched the sun come up...I did...only thing was I was like 8 and dad was supposed to know these things! Lol.

My favorite though...we were at a nite hunt...down to my buddies dog and the judge/guide...buddy is fairly good with direction...said something like "i think we need to go a little more left" or whatever....the guide gets defensive and cocky..."I don't know much but I know these woods". Wasn't a minute later we were in a marshy bottom...me and my buddy for whatever reason went first...I hear the guy kinda gasping...I turn around d and he was in quick mud nearing his waist...I took his dog and my buddy helped him out....I honestly believe if he had been alone he may have been there till help came and maybe died out there...he was stuck bad..and it had him suctioned in good..

We still laugh about it because within a minute prior he was telling us how well he knows those woods....
