What line do I need to look for?

What Walker line produces hounds that can track with heavy frost, and/or snow covered ground? I am thinking about switching breeds, but I need a hound capable of treeing coons in late Janurary/ early Feburary in northeast Kansas. I know nothing about the walker breed, any insight will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

go to the walker pup forum

and look under a post I made called "dual purpose pups for sale"
I will bump it back up for you.
You will see what some of these guys said. Multiple house blood hounds with several shots of clover crossed on a finley river hound x's ten.
Its exactly what these guys said would produce a cold nose accurate coondog. I have 5 pups from this cross. I think a pair of these would suit you. I am only asking $150.oo each. you wont find a better cross or a better price on old blood that is being lost these days.

I will post pics of them in a couple of weeks, but you could book a pup now if you like. 3 males 2 females. beautiful pups and will have outstanding mouths. I have a several generation pedigree on mom and dad. also you can go to the walker stud board and look under my ad on the stud of these pups under a thread called dual purpose stud.
It will show the generation after generation of finley river dogs behind the stud and the moms pedigree shows 7 generations of lipper and clover.

thx
