gr.ch.nt.ch.lucking's midnite desperado

I'm going to be purchasing a off spring report on desperado real soon and contacting people who are currently hunting pups off him to gather as much information I can. here is some info i'm looking for if your currently hunting a pup off desperado.

hunt on a scale of 1 being close and 10 being wide how do they hunt.

nose on a scale 1 being hot nosed and 10 being cold nosed.

track mouth 1 being tight and 10 being wide open on track.

track speed 1 being slow and 10 being catching running coon.

locating a tree 1 being slow and 10 being one bark locate type.

tree accuracy 1 being short all the time and 10 being 95% or better.

stay put tree 1 being can't hold at all and 10 being not leaving no matter what.

mouth volume 1 being poor and 10 being loudest in the cast or company hunting with always.

brains 1 being down right stupid and 10 being easy handling taught or learn easy.

please respond if your hunting a desperado dog along with your name and phone number and the dogs name and what female the dog is off. this info will be valuable to me in the next steps I take in the next year or so. thank you for your time it is greatly appreciated.

I own a 2 year old male out of Desperado and Coffey's Smokin Fanny which is from Elizabethtown, Ky. I've owned him since he was six weeks old and couldn't be happier with him. His Name is Damien's Midnite Red Caesar, He is currently in Pennsylvania with my brother while I work out of the country for the next nine months but I'll be around and answer anything you want to know about him. Hunt- 5 or 6 starts close works out don't blow by anything when he's alone. After about 500yds he'll swing back around.
Nose-6
Track Mouth- depends on the track, he'll give you what the track is. hot he's wide open, cold he'll let you know hes still working it.
Track Speed- 5 or 6
Locate- 4 or 5
Accuracy- 7 or 8
Pressure- 7
Mouth- 4 or 5
Brains - 9 not much you have to teach twice

Hope this helps you out and you have my number if you got any questions.

I hunted a 9 or 10 month old pup off him for a guy for a month. she was a nice female with a good mouth for her age she was a fast learner she wouldn't look at a coon alive or dead but she could run and tree a hot coon by herself in a few weeks. strange that she wouldn't bark at the coons but i laid a huge drag with that coon and she opened on track and treed really hard. just didn't want to chew on one

I personally think these are very conservative numbers but I'll know a lot more and give my rating in the next few months.

CH J-T'S LIL RED MIDNITE CHOPPER

She's out of CH BRADY'S DAISY DOLITTLE.
Hunt: 5-6
Nose: 7
Track mouth: 7-8, depending on track. she can absolutely screem on a good track.
Track speed: 7-8, depending on track.
Locating tree: 4-5
Tree Acuracy: 8
Stay put: 2, She has an alergy problem and won't bark up but very little do to pain in her ears. I have not been able to correct this in 2 years and I don't know what else to do. This should not effect your study though, she's just an exception in some ways.
Volume: 8, she will be heard through the woods. She can scream!
Brains: 9, She is one of the smartest dogs I've ever worked with.
This dog is a pleasure to turn loose. If it were not for her allergy problem she would be one of the best I have owned. I hunt her with younger dogs from time to time just to teach them how to run a track. She will tree just a little but you better be close, she wont stay but just a minute and she quits because it hurts her to look up and bark. She has 2 wins towards Grand on the bench and will finish easy. Unless some miracle happens with her ears, I will never hunt her in comp. hunts. She will be at Redbone days in Cuba, mo. to show though. I hope what I have given will help you.
She throws and raises some awsome pups too!
Any questions just call, thanks

Desperado
Will hunt what ever he is put in !
Nose is 8-9 cold nosed
Track mouth 5-6 opens according to the track
Speed 5-6 him being very thuro can slow him but fast on the right track
Locate 6-7 checks himself he hates to not have the coon
Accuracy 8-9 almost always has a coon
Pressure 5 doesn't like rough dogs at the tree if there is one in the first tree will be alone or far from the rough one the next dump!
Mouth 8-9 one of if not the loudest red dogs I've seen
Brains 8-9 very smart doesn't need to be told twice very often
