what if they usein the stop watch on the unit during the hunt?what about that program

I believe any use of the Garmin during hunt time is a scratch offense. Some judges don't even know how to operate a Garmin, they are not gonna ask what you are doing with it or what program you are using. If it is out or on during hunt time, they should scratch and the rule book backs that up.

Rule is it must be powered off during hunt time. Can be used during a time out but that's it. If its powered on they should be scratched
