David....I have talked with Whimp
extensively on his repete dog. Whimp is a true walker breeder who has impacted the breed today as much as the john monroes, the joe houses, james merchants etc.
He said his repete pups are the most dynamic 5 month old pups he has ever raised. That says a lot. Now like someone said on here, they are not old enough to tell you how they will top out.
I have heard and seen videos of some repete pups and they are a lot like the Lock Box pups who is a full brother to repete.
they start young, are smart, have loud mouths, very gamey. may run some junk young, but top out earlier than most hounds from various lines do and are track dogs that run out front. They are solid tree dogs. very balanced on both ends. Have not heard of any silent or semi silent from them or being mean or any other habit that would make you not want to breed to him or lock box for that matter.
If you are thinking to breeding to him, I would say go for it. I cant see a negative to it at all. I have bred the same line of dogs for over thirty years myself and added some of whimps line to mine back with his bark dog. I really like what it has added to my hounds.
