KEEP PRAYING!
Hit close to home for our family... Bob grew up at the start in Hopkinton amd me a few miles from the finish. My sister and husband went down the street from my mums this morn. to watch the elite runners closing in to the end of the race... My sister Cassandra was working in a hotel around the corner from the finish...and is FINE... Our son and daughter in law are awaiting the birth of our first grandchild...started some early labor yesterday...and we are just glad they are not going to be using one of the hospitals involved in all this when REAL labor starts.... We called our college sons immediately to be sure they were not at the finish. My former brother in law left my Mums house(where he works) to find his 2 kids who were there. Thankfully while he was gone the kids got in touch with there mother and my Mum...
I'm 53, Bob is 50.... we didn't grow up with this sort of FEAR....I despise the city and love my little 2 acre patch of "country town" We live in.... I"m sickened by what humans are capable of doing to each other and pray daily for PEACE and LOVE and COMPASSION in all humans...... Today I add prayers for my fellow mass. residents and all the visitors to my State and hometown..... SIGH..........
With Prayers, Heather and also Bob William
