Executive Orders or Action???

I've seen Both Reps. and Democrat Presidents use Executive Orders Before But Have you seen How Many Executive Actions this Current Dude Uses??? Both Can and Should Be Examined by Congress but I've yet to See any Senator or Representative Call him out on it. Both circumvent Congress. I think we Ought to Call For Immediate MRI's ON ALL MEMBERS OF BOTH HOUSES and see if any of them have a Backbone!!! I wish someone would Challenge Him on Anything!!! And This is not an APRIL FOOLS DAY trick!!!!

I'm sure his excuse is that the Congress can't or won't move so he has to. When it comes to Congress, there ain't much to circumvent, they are totally stagnant. Yes, I agree Obama sux, I can't even comprehend how anyone who hunts, fishes, or appreciates freedom could have voted for him. But it might be good to keep in mind that the reason he is in there is because the alternatives are just as, if not more, incompetent.

You hear Congressmen get up and Spout off to an Empty Chamber about Something that Might Help his or Hers RE-ELECTION EFFORTS, but it seems they become mute on Critical Things before a Full House. I know W.V. Senator Joe Manchin Talks whichever way the wind blows. He got elected on a picture shooting a Hi-Powered Rifle at a Bunch Of Trash From "o"'s Agenda, Now he's trying to convince Gun Owners we need more laws for Gun Ownership!! Seems he goes out of his way to Suck-up to "o". While Governor of W.V. He had a 80% approval Rating. I told People then, He's just The Best Liar we've had for awhile. He had to be lying Thru his teeth because Nobody could make that many people happy with their Political Views!! "o' is a Tyrant in my book. If you like him, so be it, but just watch what happens to AMERICA under his watch. We're sliding farther and farther into "Socialism" daily!!

brush, Obama is actually using executive orders at a lower rate than almost any president in the last 100 years. Less than Bush 1 or 2. Less than Clinton, Reagan or Carter.

That sounds great, but no.

He hasn't signed more than every president combined, but he has signed more than every other president. He has signed 150 more than George W. Bush in half the time. The numbers are out there to look up. Give that a shot instead of reading what someone else says.

I will admit that I wasn't looking at the numbers right and typed this up bass ackwards. He has signed 150 less than Bush, but is still on pace to sign just about as many as previous presidents.

Obama=146

Clinton=363
HW Bush=165
Reagan=380
Carter=419
Now I just did those numbers quick without a calculator, feel free to correct if I made any mistakes.
Looks to me like Obama is on track to be the lowest EO per year of any recent presidents.

As track asked- you still sure about this? particularly on a per year basis?

If I'm wrong I will admit it, but look at the number of EO's each president made during a conflict. Obama still has to deal with Afghanistan, and we have both North Korea and Iran in the works on top of a near economic crisis. You take that into account with the prediction that the Dems are going to lose seats in both the House and Senate in November, and lets not forget the legislative issues of today; immigration, gun laws, healthcare, etc. But if you want to crunch the numbers, he is doing better than Bush Sr., but if he keeps it up will do worse than Jr.

actually michael, one of the biggest users of EO's was FDR and he did when we were not at war.
what is a little deceptive about EO's is just how drastic of an action does that EO take. If it is to name a certain day as a "historic observation" day it isn't much of a big deal. If it is to allow torture, or killing folks in places where we are not at war, when they have not been tried and convicted, then it is a big deal.
And btw, let me just say, the Dems are not going to lose any seats this November. Maybe in 2014, but not this November.

You are correct, I wasn't really paying attention when I typed that because I was on the phone. But they are predicting the losses of several vital seats next November. FDR did sign more EO's than any other president, he had also just entered his fourth term when he died, and he became the president during the largest economic crisis in our country, as well as during the bulk of WWII. Our next president might have to do the exact same thing when this president leaves office.
