whats a good light for a 7 yr old boy ?

my grandson is gonna start going with me. i want to get him a light. i have been looking at the crystal lights online. are they decent lights or just a cheap waste of money ?..
I want a decent light weight light for him,, any suggestions would be welcome.

i got a western rivers camo lite from cabelas for 75.00 for my boy, was really impressed with it. A month later I bought another for myself, nice and light weight, long burn time and plenty bright. I would recommend a diamond reflector though.

Good little light !

toe cutter - The Crystal light is a great light, used one every night for the past 18 months ! I have the CS-6 model, I like the battery on belt as I don't have to worry crossing the river and dropping it in the water doing it ... just grab cord and put it back on. Battery pack is small enough to slip in your pocket, if just going out to do simple stuff. Has a good halo no matter what setting the switch is on. The spot is nice and tight, on high I can see almost as far as using the spotlight on my old Bandit .

THE PREDATOR 2 OR 3.. they are great lights, they are cordless! no box or belt. 20hrs on high 30 hrs on medium and 40hr on low.. the predator 2 is 100 and the 3 is 150.

Randy, go to nite time hunting supply and look at the 125$ Camo "son" light. small enough to fit in shirt pocket, brighter than a wheat light ever was, or predator ll.

So glad to here your buddy is gonna hunt with you, Y'all will never forget it!

i bought my kids a China mine light for 35$ . the lights battery and head are all wrapped in one. it is plenty bright and last forever has a bright side and a dim side. it has a truck and a wall chargher. the worst thing about these light is made in china. but if they go bad before i think they need a light like mine i will buy them a new one and get one for my self for a back up . they are black with a red around lens

I'd recommend the predator light from nite- time as well. My wife and son both have one and they love em and I'm impressed with them as well. Come in handy when around the house too or if I have some one go that doesn't have one.

I would buy a little energizer led light with the elastic headband. ITs small, its light, and its easy to use. Since I got one of these for christmas my girl leaves her box light and helmet at home and wears this. $14.97 at wal-mart......
