went to oklahoma a week ago friday nite hunted with .
gene battiest & 2 of his grandchildren, and the famous mr bruce hobbs.
had a blast , your ever in colcord , ok. look gene up for a hunt some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
he and his grandchildren are the kind of people you cant help but like and enjoy being around.
glad to see he is puting black&tans in those kids hands. those teenagers can run up and down those DEEP draws like squirels and i was glad of it. PAUL LEWIS

You only go through one time and it is best to have a good time.
Once I went to Paul's for a hunt with him and Darin Mastin and what a blast it was. We cut 5 times and treed coon around the Duck ponds and you could hear ole Mutt for a mile or more.
I may have got the best dog that I have ever had from him. Paul is a winner. If you don't know him you should. Maybe get to meet him any way.

It was windy as hell and the coon wasn't that thick and his dogs went over a mile to get treed and Gene got us within a couple of hundred yards of the tree. Believe it or not in them hills that is good. He has fine dogs. We had a nice visit and Paul I heard through the grape vine that you slept late the next day. Look forward to seeing you again at B&T days. Gene also has some dog power and I enjoyed hearing them run also. Just great allaround good people and I am glad to see that they tollirate me.
