Add on Maps - Garmin Alpha

Hey y'all I know the Alpha is much talked about lately and I've learned a lot from y'all as I've lurked without posting, but one thing I haven't seen is information about add on maps like the Birds Eye from Garmin or the micro chip thing from huntinggpsmaps.com. I've heard good things about the hungting gps, but its pretty spendy at $100 bucks. I really like Google Earth which makes me think the Birds Eye is the best option, but I'm not sure what I get for the price? Do you buy it by entire states or what?

Any info would be appreciated.

Garmin has some short videos on Birds Eye View on their web site. I definitely think it is the way to go.

Thank you for the reply Larry, I didn't notice that they have videos. I'll take a look.

I don't know anything about huntinggpsmaps but I'm purty sure anything mapwise that cost 100 bucks is a rip. Birdseye is 30, micros sd's are under 20. Nothing more to buy than that.
