Used to be every VFW, Eagles, fire dept and catholic church had a muskrat dinner during the winter and really cranked them up during Lent down in the detroit river area of trenton, flatrock and the downriver area. I thought they were pretty tasty baked in cream of mushroom soup or crock potted in cream corn.
