I am thinking about crossing my Thunderstick female over Flat Rock River Sowder. I don't think this has been done before. Reba is 5 yr old and pretty good female, and Sowder has thrown some pretty good pups from what I have seen. Just looking for a few thoughts on it.
The dog hasn't had all the hype some do, but take a look at how that pedigree was put together.
I don't know what your female is like but remember the female has as much to do with it as the male.
I wouldn't be afraid of breeding to Sowder. The dog wasn't heavily promoted or campaigned. It did seem like though when he was campaigned he would win his cast consistently by treeing coons other's did not score on. He is probably one of those under used stud dogs just like Iron Mountain Drum was! Best of luck to you.
