A friend of mine had him in N.GA a few years ago. He sold him to a guy in Missouri.. Thats the last place I knew him to be.

If not for Jane would we ever had heard of rube ?... he had brothers that produced real good..not real sure about rube other than Jane.. I would breed to cutter way before rube. Actually I would say that hammer might have been the best producer out of the harry Abby cross.jmo

I would breed to Rube over any of the HarryXAbby studs., he throws balanced, accurate track and tree dogs. All of the dogs in my part of the country off of rube are coon dogs.. Hammer produced Mojo.. I know cutter has has a lot more pups on the ground and theres bound to be some that didnt make it but ive killed the last 3 Ive had off of cutter.. They were high strung and hard headed.. Of coarse their dam had a part in that as well.. I like the calmness and willingness to learn that Rube dominantly reproduces into his pups.. I dont own a hair on Rube but I have hunted quite a few dogs out of him and they were all accurate and had a head full of sense! Once again thats one opinion, take it for what its worth to you.
