My favorite is Dual Grand Harpeth River Blue Joe. Joe was out of the NiteCh Uchtman's Rebel x NiteCh Stower's Sadie Mae cross. Joe is a full brother to Dual Grand Castleberry's Rebel II and Dual Grand Davis' Blue Scooter, I believe there was another Dual Grand Brother named Horse Branch Blue Radar. Joe would also be a half brother to Uchtmans Hawk. The dogs I hunt, own and raise to this day carry Joe's blood. Joe can be found in the pedigree's of Jet 6, B&D's Blue Spike, Spring Hill Jenny just to name a few.

Smokey river blue diamond Jim: Was the end of the track straddler.he seemed to put speed into old blue.Just because the coon goes around the tree twice, does not mean the hound has to! jmo

2 crosses that I made on GrNiteCh Slife's Rambo were among the best litters ever raised here. Not sure if the females were the reason, or Rambo was just a great stud. Two out of that bunch made the final four of a world hunt. I would sure like to raise a litter like one of those today. Really natural young dogs that just needed a ride to the woods.

I haven't been around as long as most and didn't get the privilege of hunting with some of the older dogs mentioned. So in my time of hunting NTCH SMOKEY RIVER JBS CHIEF is the best stud I have come in contact with. He really put lots of heart, desire, and brains in the many I came in contact with. He threw so many easy starters that also finished right. He also produced many many reproducers that seem to still be producing to this day.

On another note, back in those days I would always draw out with nice hounds out of Jet V in almost every competition hunt.

Then in more recent years I drew many nice ones from Rambo II.

Those were the only breeds in my part of the country at that time so I certainly can't compare most other lines.

X 2

I would add Mailes Pete. Pete had 128 pups with many top hounds sired.

This is what I would have to say

Hillbilly and Jet 6 Again because these two dogs gave me, my present two dogs Patch and Junior. I feel very blessed to have two male dogs of this caliber.

I really like jet 6 again, when I hunted with him he was a real nice coondog.

My favorite live stud is out behind a barn,Smokey River Cheif Geronimo.I have hunted dogs off of many big name studs,I am hunting 3 by Smokey River Cheif Geronimo out of different females,They are the absolute best young dogs I've started and hunted in a long time.
