Small, Smart and Speed

Hey guys, I'm trying to do some research on a possible future pup.
A lot of the guys in my particular area, seem to prefer large male dogs. I have normally preferred my dogs to be on the smaller size, female, smart, and pleasurable.

I was wondering if there are any hunters out there have similar tastes, and if you have any recommendations on stud, lines or breeders to look into?

Thank You

Idk I was looking at some of those wild card pups, there not exactly, the best looking hounds I've ever seen. I've also had several people tell me lone pine dogs often end up ill around the tree. Thank u for all of your suggestions so far. Still don't think I've found what I'm looking for yet.

Not trying to offend anyone. Just triyng to find a variety of opinions. If I wanted to find out what was available locally, I would have called one of my buddies down the street.

no offense taken or intended, just stating the facts. like i said what you're asking, people have already said, truthfully, without any offense.

with that hear say crap. they don't know how right they are,!!!
ALL THEY DO IS SHOW YOU COONS ALL NIGHT LONG, AND FAST, LIKE OLE MAC.
hope you find what you're looking, good luck, GOD BLESS!

If you like a fifty pound female with a lot of heart, drive, and intelligence Harry Bawls would be a good sire to consider.

What your looking for is something off of skuna river bark lines and I will have 2 heaviest skuna river crosses that will be breathing air in the next -
3-4 months. 571-233-5819 smaller dogs with huge mouths that can fly on a cold track aswell as a hot one with great locates and steady chop tree dogs like rain dripping off a gutter!!!!qand most start real early and are pretty much trash free there whole lives

cant go wrong with potomacs line of dogs! i have 2 out of his stock in my kennels right now. 1 finished to dual grand in 9 hunts and he was a young 2 years old when he got his last win! the other is only 6 months old and shows good potential. adding a 3rd dog when these litters hit the ground!

This was exactly what I was going to suggest, Mr Aron, I have been told likes a smaller dog and that is what he has bred for. Most all of the Bark dogs I have seen around here are smaller dogs but really a little too small for my taste. Now if I had one and it was a coon treeing machine it wouldn't bother me at all
