stop showing him the coon one is good enough now just when you catch one turn it loose give it a head start and let the pup find the track i like the run the coon up a tree myself that way i know which tree it went up in and i can mark it and keep a close eye on the pup while he works the track dont worrie about him worken drags i hardly do them i wait until the dog trees a coon and i knock it out ot him then illl load him up go somewhere and tie a rope to that coon and make a nice long but easy drag for the pup to work then go get the pup and turn him aloose and let him work the track if he trees it i until the rope and let it fall i like to pull it up about 20 foot high when i do that also and the biggest thing that will help you more then eny in patience he still has alot of time
