Camera Info

Looking to get a new camera for taking pics of the hounds and caught game, also will be using it to take quality pics of clients and there trophys they harvest. Been looking pretty hard at the canon rebel t4i, also the sony nex series. I am as amatuer as can be when it comes to cameras but I want to get one that is user friendly and that I can ad a lens to for wildlife pics later on as well for long distance pics.
Would sure like to hear your thoughts on what way to go...

CANON REBEL T4I. I HAVE A REBEL XS THAT I HAVE HAD FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW, AND I LOVE IT. IT TAKES AMAZING PICTURES! I HAVE THE STANDARD LENS AND THE 55-250 LENS AND THE 250 IS GOOD FOR SEMI-LONG DISTANCE. YOU CAN GET SOME INSANE LENSES JUST DEPENDS ON HOW DEEP YOUR POCKETS ARE.

MY ONLY GRIPE WITH MY REBEL IS AT NIGHT TAKING PICS OF THE DOGS, SOMETIMES IT TAKES TO LONG TO TRY AND FOCUS. IT ALWAYS TELLS ME BUSY. I HAVE STARTED USING MANUAL SETTINGS SO IT DOESNT HAVE TO THINK AS MUCH AND AS LONG AS I HAVE MY TRIPOD IT SEEMS LIKE THAT IS WORKING OK FOR NOW.

Canon Rebel series! I have the T3, my first DSLR, and it is awesome! You can pick it up for about $550 and it comes with a kit lens and a 75-300mm lens.

Any frame in a video clip can be converted into a photo. I would look into a high definition camcorder that plugs into your computer. Then, you don't have to hit the button at just the right time.
