Last year you couldnt even find a good spot to turn loose on WMA where i am at, but this year it seems like all of hunters disappeared. Seems like right at the first of coon season its gets kind of busy every hunting, but at about Christmas you dont see a soul out there. I dont hunt much WMA after deer season. We have a few hunt clubs we get to hunt.

Most come in here. Kill a few but when it gets tough going they back off. I saw 1 hunter other night on the one here. He said he ate the coons but hadn't got one. So I gave him mine.

Been hunting national forest for along time ,this year was the worst i have ever seen. Hunters coming in from 40 miles away, just to turn dogs out right on top of you.I know they have just as much right to be there as we do,but its bad here in the mountains of VA.
