I'm trying to find some bulk quanties of the type of chain used to make dog leashes. I've asked this question over on the vendor side but no one seems to want to point me in the right direction.

I would think you could order a whole spool from about any hardware store. Most any coop or hardware store in my area has spools so you can buy in bulk.

They've got it at our local ace store in bulk. Privatly owned and high as a kite on everything though!

i make all my own lead and i usually search and find me a good price on some choke collars , i seen some good heavy gage ones at the dollar store a few days ago . i use them to make my leads just loop my leather thru one end and brad it and put me a good s hook and snap on the other . fast easy and last a long time . i buy finished 1/2 or 5/8 horse rain leather from a supplyer of mine . you want at least the 10mm choke collars just buy in the lenght you want to use . another good source for supplys is leather bros . supply or weaver leather co. you can buy all your choke chains snaps and supply's thru them .

Use a good choke collar, already has the o-rings in it. that is what we use.. Go to a dollar store, usually can find some ther for cheap!
