Directions: From intersection of US 31 and US 24. Go east on US 24 approximately ¼ mile and turn left onto Eel River Cemetery Road. Club will be on the left.

Doors open at 5:00 PM and we will adjourn at 9:00 PM. A live auction will be held with many exciting auction items.

Each paid up 2013 HTDA member will receive free admission and one meal ticket. Guest meal tickets are $20 each and each guest will become a 2013 HTDA member. To ensure your banquet reservations you’ll want to send the R.S.V.P. back in right away. Your RSVP will be confirmed on the HTDA website, http://www.hoosiertreedogs.org .

If you are interested in playing a larger role and putting some time into making this banquet a success there is plenty for you to do; anyone who would like to donate auction items or would like to be a sponsor or know of anyone who would like to be a sponsor, please contact Jeff Morgan (765) 561-0287.

I'm putting together another vintage coonhunting shadow box for the HTDA Banquet auction this year. This one will have some rare and very interesting items in it from coonhunting of days gone by.
I will also have a collection of items from the theme of "Where The Red Fern Grows". I have a framed original movie poster, the book by Wilson Rawls, the original 1974 movie on DVD, the movie part II on DVD, and the re-make by Disney released in 2003 on DVD. This will be in the auction and sold as a complete collection.
Mark your calendars for February 9th to be held in Peru, Indiana at the beautiful Western Howard Conservation Club. If you haven't paid your membership up, it isn't too late! Join today. We will be serving a great meal followed by an auction that will have some big ticket one of a kind items. I will post photos soon of my donations! Anyone can donate an item for the auction. The more in the auction, the more money we can raise for this great organization.

I snapped this photo tonight with my phone. Sorry the quality isn't better.




This is the collection of "Where The Red Fern Grows" all three DVDs, the paper back book by Wilson Rawls and the original framed 1974 Movie poster that would have been displayed in the movie Theater.
The novel was made into a popular 1974 film starring Stewart Petersen, James Whitmore and Beverly Garland. It was followed by Where the Red Fern Grows, Part Two in 1992. The film was remade in 2003 and starred Joseph Ashton, Dabney Coleman, Ned Beatty and Dave Matthews.

This collection will be donated to the auction and sold as a group.
