automatic feeders

Has anyone ever built one i got a idea in my head using a PVC pipe like i use for deer feeders just seeing if anyone out their has any ideas

i used pvc pipes to put dog food in if im gonna be away for a day or two cut a grove in the bottom of it feel it up still a days feed in it when i get back i cut them about 36 inches long pour some food in their bowls put the pipe in there then feel it up works fine for me.
