Breeders of Coon dogs

Can you call a man that buys a hound from someone else and puts it up for stud, and then after five hundred females buys a pup of some else's hard work , then campaigns his older dog as a great producer can you really call him a great breeder of hounds ? I would never fault a man if he found what he liked and hunted it , but please don't miss represent the hound or the man .
Give the dog and the man credit, but please be honest about how you got there, for years iv seen this going on and its always left a bitter taste for me. a good hound is just that a good one and ill call it just like it is if he's better than what I feed, ill shake a mans hand any day that will humbly represent what he has, I am not a jealous man but I do appreciate honesty! ....... ok ill get off the stump

I have a hound that is as nice as any person has ever snaped a lead on, and i will be the first to tell you that i had very little to nolthing to do with him geting there. Matneys big time mose was raised and trained by someone i am proud to call a friend named James (Junior) matney of Arlington IN, he is a true houndsman and anyone who knows him well will tell you that he can get more out of hound than most ever thought possible. I purchased Mose from him about a year ago for very little money not because he wanted to make money off of a top notch hound but because he wanted me to have a quality hound at a price i could afford. I believe credit deserves to be with whom it is due and in my case it certainly belongs to Junior.
