What kind of a squirrel is that? I have never seen anything like that.

That is a Fox Squirrel. The ones around here have a black body and head or red body and red head with a white face and feet. One is like have two grey squirrels.

They hang around heavy pine wood areas around here.

Never seen such a creature. Around here we just have the red fox squirrels that are built like linebackers because no one ever hunts them. After this deer season, I have been considering it. Things are everywhere and sound like a freight train coming through the trees. It's amazing you can look over and realize a full grown whitetail just snuck up within 30 yards of you, but you can hear a squirrel at about a 100 yards.
