Yep , and I bet they can't get an insuance policy like the B&T's because walkers have won the World Hunt so often.

Since only one B&T has ever won the WH , that makes it easy for us to get a good deal on Insurance... The bad part is , it looks like our money is very safe from a winner. lol

On the topic of Insurance for the 2013 WH.... I do wish people would help Phillip Herron out more. He still has a long way to go to raise enough money for 2013 and guarantee a $10,000 B&T prize. Many people on here have never donated a dime and I wish you would help him out... If not for Phillip Herron , there would NOT a $10,000 prize offered... So please consider sending the man a check for any amount.

The $ incentive is just a good idea for any breed to put up.credit goes to the black and tan breeders for coming up with it first but it only makes sense for the other breeds to follow suit.

Question.......How much money was originally raised for the WHIF
and where is it now? Did it go to pay for the insurance policy?

I rather see donated monies keep building the WHIF and not capped at 10k...So what if someone wins and we start over. You would have more interest in hunting blk dogs if you could win 50000+ and it would be good advertisement fot the B&T Breed.

Whif money is still in the Assoc account minus the high scoring dog payouts.. I'm guessing but prolly $7500 or so left in there. None of it is used for the insurance policy. The Insurance has nothing to do with the Assoc.

I'm not gonna raise money again this year for WHIF. It's somebody elses turn. lol ... Any takers out there ?

if the money builds up enough it will be a higher pay out.
the $10,000 needs to be covered first.once that happens and the fund builds to say $30,000.you could have a pay out of $20,000 and keep the $10,000 in reserve for the following year.
Phillip Herron could explain it.
folks need to start digging in their pockets and helping out.the only way this builds up is our donations.

Is there a limit each person needs to send it . I'd like to help .. And also I've been looking for the American Black and Tan coonhound association stickers they hand out anyone know where I can buy some I know they have them and little pins at there both in grand American
